TOY TITANS

There's been TEEN TITANS TOYS since long before artist George Peréz and I ever thought to co-createThe New Teen Titans. Back in 1976, MEGO TOYS featured Aqualad, Speedy, Kid Flash, Robin and Wonder Girl. I was thrilled because that was the Wonder Girl costume designed for my very first Teen Titans story way back in the late 60s. Below are those original MEGO Toys.

In the 80s, Cyborg was turned into an action figure by Kenner toys. Today, this figure is worth hundreds of dollars because back then manufacturers didn't think Cyborg would sell well and under produced the toys. Needless to say, they were wrong. Fortunately, that problem doesn't exist today.

During the 80st, there was a wonderful New Teen Titans Role Playing Game. Along with the game were some incredible pewter Titans figures. Although I have them, the pewter figures are so small that I couldn't take a good pictures. As I improve the images, I'll add them to this site. Beside all the regular Titans, except, inexplicably Raven, you can also find Slade Wilson, Deathstroke the Terminator, known simply as "Slade" on the show, Trigon, Brother Blood and Blackfire.

later in the 80s, in Germany, they manufacutred a now very rare Starfire PVC. A picture will be on this site, soon .

DC COMICS has their own line of DC DIRECT toys, and they've done not only one set of Titans, but two.

The above is a beautiful set of TITANS PVCs. They came out just a couple of years ago. I love 'em.

The CYBORG, RAVEN and STARFIRE Action figures also came out in the last few years.

This set is called The Classic Teen Titans. Pardon me if I disagree. Not only are these George and my NEW TITANS and not the classics (a term usually referred to the original Haney/Cardy 1960s run) but Cyborg and Raven are shown in colors they adopted at the end of my run, back in 1996. Still, whatever you call 'em, they're cool toys.
